Als ich Bernadette das erste Mal im Stoffsalon sah, war ich zugegeben etwas überrascht:
eine junge, bildhübsche Frau mit grünen, langen Dreadlocks, ein paar Piercings, im alternativen Look.
Kurz habe ich mich gefragt, ob sie sich wohl im Geschäft geirrt hat, weil ich das was ich sah so gar nicht mit dem was ich anbiete in Verbindung bringen konnte. Sie näht?? 🙂
Aber: „Never judge a book by its cover“
Was bin ich froh, dass ich sie kennengelernt habe! So eine sympathische, talentierte, kreative und vielseitige junge Frau trifft man nicht alle Tage! Sie hat tolle Ideen, sie näht entzückende Sache und macht obendrein auch noch wunderschöne Fotos ihrer Arbeiten!
Ganz nebenbei erwähnt hat sie auch noch zwei herzige, kleine Töchter und jedesmal wenn mich die drei Mädels besuchen kommen (manchmal auch mit dem Papa), freue ich mich!
Also schaut mal rein bei ihr und lasst euch inspirieren!

Ach ja, und natürlich sind die Nähstücke oben ganz bzw. teilweise aus Stoffsalon-Stoffen! Wie z.B. der Bio-Plüsch in der tollen Mütze!

When I first met Bernadette, I was a bit surprised with what I saw: a beautiful young women, with green dreads, piercings and an alternative look.
For a short moment I was wondering if she got the wrong shop because I could not link her to the fabrics I am selling. Is she really sewing?
But: Never judge a book by its cover!
I am so glad, I met her! She is such a wonderful, talented, creative young woman. Someone like her, you don´t meet so often! She is so inspirational, is sewing wonderfull things and on top of it, she does beautiful photos from her works.
Besides that she has two wonderful little girls and everytime they visit me at the Stoffsalon, I am so happy!

By the way: all of the above sewing projects are made entirely or at least partly out of Stoffsalon fabrics. Like the Organic Plush she used for the hat!
